Hello everyone!!
Valentines Day is this week!! I hope you have some fun plans, even if it’s going out with the girls or the guys!!
Valentines Day is for everyone!!
I hate to admit this but I am sort of a procrastinator. I am not the worst procrastinator out there, ahem, my hubby……
But I do let things slide sometimes. Then, once I finally get around to getting the project started I get into a panic rushing to compete the task.
Sheesh!!
I have found though that I am quite creative during these times of stress. So I guess there is an up side to it. My increased blood pressure however is not one of those up’s….
Luckily, I did just get a gym membership this past week, yay!! I hope to let out some of that extra stress in a healthy way. I will keep you updated!
Anyway, I wanted to share this super easy last minute Valentines Day gift with you!
Just in case you might have procrastinated 🙂
This one is great because it is useful, and you don’t have to add a treat if you don’t want to.
It can be hard to find a simple fun gift that isn’t loaded with sugar!
Another reason why I love this give is because it came with the packaging already on it!! Awesome!
Supplies:
-note pad in plastic sleeve- Target and Walmart carry these
-pen
-treats
-bakers twine
-gift tag
The other day I was walking around the store and spotted this little notepad. I picked up a few in hopes that I would be able to use them. This one even has a magnet on the back so you can stick it on your fridge or other magnetic surface.
Let me show you how I used the packing it came in when I bought it, to be the wrapping for the gift!!
Take a look at the plastic wrapping that your note pad came in. One side, usually the bottom, has a sticky flat that you can peel up. The other side, the top should have the label and a crimp in the plastic. Cut across the plastic on the top, just above the crimp. Now you have a great little gift, already wrapped.
Open the bottom flap and insert a pen and treats or any other small item. Reseal the flap
Now let’s embellish it!!
Punch a hole in the gift tag using a hole punch. Use a piece of bakers twine to attach the tag. Turn the tag over and write a message to the person receiving this awesome gift!!
What a fun simple Valentines Day gift!!
Thanks for stopping by today!!
