Do you remember that one time that I made a really awesome command center……
It was chock full of DIY’s and I thought I was the best.
I was really really into gold at the time. Come to think of it, I’m still really really into gold.
Which is funny because when I was younger, gold was for “Old People.” What does that say about me now….!!!
I had created great storage for my command center and I was certain that it would be the answer in solving all of my organizational problems……
And it was…..
all my my paper messes, craft projects and other odds and ends that had once been strewn across the house ended up on the command center desk……
I guess organization is not won in day or even if you have a really awesome command center….
I am trying to be more diligent about tiding up after myself and really for me that is half the battle so don’t give up on me yet…… I. Will. Win.
If you happen to check out my command center, then the 3 gold dipped jars that I used in my command center could be in your near future if you continue reading…..
With Spring starting to finally show her face it has been nice to get outside….. With that, summer is just around the corner.
Summer is a great time to get outside and enjoy nature. We always have fun going to parks and lakes.
But,
sometimes I have a hard time trying to figure out what are the best types of snacks to bring.
As we get ready for spring and summer I have decided to stock up on some great snacks.
I like to have snacks on hand because it decreases the chance of going out to eat while out and about. There is no better way to suck your extra spending money than eating out and making snack purchases on the fly…… I know from experience.
In case you are looking for some additional ideas for on the go snacks here is a great list for you!
1- Oranges
3- Bananas
5- Fruit Bowls
8- Dried Fruit
10- Granola Bars
11- Trail Mix
12- Yogurt Raisins
13- Nutella to Go
Did you know that you can order food from Amazon!! So cool!!
*** Did you guess which item can be seen in my command center….??
Snack option #11 was the lucky winner!! Granted I did buy mine from Target and the trial mix I got was about $5 a jar…… just sayin’
Hope you got some good snack ideas!!

Take some time to brainstorm three lists: a list of things she likes, a list of things you like about her, and a list of things you have in common, which can include inside jokes or memories. Use these lists as inspiration for gift ideas.

For instance, if you know she loves cooking, you could get her an apron printed with some of your favorite pictures together.
