In my youth I had a passion for scrapbooking and card making. My mother gave me all of my baby pictures when I was in the 9th grade so that I could make my own scrapbook.
I was so excited to be able to organize the photos however I wanted!! My grandmother had given me all kinds of pretty paper with stickers and those fancy glue dots that came out of a little dispenser… you know the kind I mean, right?
I had scissors that cut straight, scissors that cut squiggly lines, I even had scissors that cut zig zag…. Let’s just say in the eyes of a 9th grader I had it all…..
Everything I needed to make a fabulous scrapbook!!
I remember sorting out my photos by age…. Having to ask my mother several times how old I was in some of them.
I can still remember being very precise in my cutting…..
Being careful to cut close to the edge but not too close…
edge, what edge!!
You might think that I am talking about cutting out the pages and cute piece of paper to go behind all of the old photos of me as a cute little baby…..
well that would have been all nice and dandy…. instead…
I decided to cut out the people in each photo….. you know not everyone individually…. of course not, who do you think I am….
I just cut off the entire background…. and anyones hair that was standing too big or wide…. I cut round arms and legs and even my cute baby head!!
Yep……
All. Of. Them…..
I can still remember being very meticulous in writing “cute baby” or “Shonee turns 1” on each of the designated pages….all with the people cut out of the photos…..
As I have grown up….
I have stopped cutting people out of photos…. I promise…
I still have a passion for scrapbooking and card making!!
I have since moved to digital scrapbooking and not the kind that has embellishments or fancy paper but rather the kind that just has pictures and stories.
I also still love card making….
A few months ago I decided that I wanted to share some of my cards with you guys. Ever since then I have been adding new cards every month to my site for you guys to print out.
I just wanted to make sure that everyone has a chance to get their hands on these cards…
