I guess you could say that we love to remodel. Since living here we have pretty much gutted the house. We completely remodeled the kitchen, including a tile backsplash. The little bathroom is well on its way to getting a makeover. I have painted every single wall in this house, some of them more than once…We have been working on The Suite Pecan for a while…..and now…
Now we have started another project. Operation Garage.
I am a little bit embarrassed to let you see me….the real me. WARNING…this is messy really messy. hahaha
This house has so, so many design flaws. I will try not to get up on my soap box and describe all of them to you. But, the first and most obvious is the color. Come one, lime green! Yes it’s true, your screen has not gone all wonky on you!
The next big issue here is a garage that is not finished…. Without further adieu…we are enclosing the carport and making it into a garage….don’t mind me while I do my happy dance.
This has been a long time coming. I think everyone one our street thinks that we are hoarders. The wood mess and other construction stuff strewn across the driveway…constantly. We literally have no storage since giving up the store room to The Suite Pecan. I will be in heaven having a real space to organize our tools!

We have done our share of remodeling so I know how much work they can be. Can’t wait to see how your garage turns out!
I never wanted a fixer upper, because of all the work. Don’t tell Mr.Main this, but I am sort of loving all the fun projects. It’s exciting to transform a space and make it your own. Happy remodeling!
That’s super exciting! I can’t believe the difference you’ve made in that home. By the time you’re all done it’s going to be a DREAM! Yay for a garage and storage space.

I bet it turned out awesome. I love a good project, but I confess that the garage is my Goliath. I just can’t muster the desire to do anything with it which isn’t cool since it doubles as my workshop. I can’t way to see the finished area. Visiting from Share Your Style link party.

I know what you mean. This space is always a disaster. I am sure the neighborhood has deemed us the hoarder house…haha. I hope to be able to be more organized with a dedicated garage now! We are making good progress.
I’ve never dreamed of an upgrade due to the amount of work involved. Don’t say to Mr.Main this however, I am kind of enjoying all the fun projects. It’s thrilling to change an area and transform it into your personal.
