I have been doing some re-arranging around here lately!
This table used to sit right by the side door and has made an appearance here on the blog a few different times.
I decided to move it across the room for a couple of reasons. First, I really like how it looks over here, it fills the space nicely. The second reason I wanted to move it was because I felt like it collected so much clutter. It was the first spot to put stuff as you entered the house and it literally was always cluttered.
You may remember what this table originally looked like. In case you missed the before pictures head over here to see the transformation with both before and after pictures.
The handle on the original table was impossible to remove or nearly impossible. Whoever made this, added a piece of wood to the inside front of the drawer, AFTER applying the hardware. I had no access to the screws to remove the old hardware. Arg!
My quick fix method, use the Dremel to saw off the hardware. Not the prettiest but it worked. You can still see where the screws were/are.
I wanted to find a really cool nob to add to this piece. I looked high and low for a couple of months before I found this one. It is supposed to look like it is made out of glass but I’m pretty sure that it’s plastic. Still, it’s the perfect size and the color makes it look like it was made for this table!
I am still enjoying the semi laid back fall season. I know the Christmas hustle and bustle will be coming soon enough. I threw this Fall Vignette together real quick using items I already had on hand. A couple of the DIY projects that you see here are: DIY fall wreath for free, white dipped basket, and my simple fall center piece.
Are you ready for all the crazy Christmas hustle and bustle??

Thanks Tania! Honestly I was a little bit nervous when I decided to paint this little table green, but I have loved it as an accent piece in my home. Now that I have the knob it's perfect. Thanks for stopping by!
