You might have heard that I am starting to get Christmas fever…. haha. What can I say, it’s on my mind and it’s coming up quick.
I am trying to decide how I want to decorate my home this year…..decisions, decisions!
In years past I have done more of a traditional red, white and green theme. Then I went with a rustic silver look .
This year, I am wanting to break out of my traditional colors as sort of a personal challenge. Maybe all red and white. Maybe even all white and green. I am just feeling like this holiday season needs to be simplified for me.
So, I searched and searched and found some amazing spaces that will for sure be inspiration for my holiday decor this year. Here are 7 amazing Christmas decor ideas.
What are your favorites?
This red and white decor is simple and sophisticated. I like the clean, uncluttered look of this space. Check out this Red and White Decor.
What can I say, I love blue. Here is a non traditional spin on holiday decor. Who knows, you might see some more blue around here this year! Check out Blue and Green.
I really really wish I could pull this off. I remember a few years ago I wrapped all our gift in bright colors. It was so fun. Check out Pink and Bright.
This space feels very cozy and calm. Just what I need! The simple color pallet here really speaks loud with what I am looking for this year! Check out Black and White
What do you think of plain white with touches of green? Simple, yes…..but is it enough? It still has a warm feel to it, right? Check out White and Green Decor.
I like the warm neutral feel of this space, with touches of green. It has a traditional feel to it but with the added neutral and green tones it looks great. Check out Neutral and Green.
What a great rustic green space. I love the fire place, and the floor. It feels very woodsy to me. Check out Rustic Green.
Did you see that wall above the fire place, love it. This is another great example of rustic neutral with green accents. Are you seeing a trend in what I like? Check out this Rustic space.

I am just like you, thinking about Christmas decorating already! My daughter would love it if we went with the whole hot pink look! Ha! But I have other plans, she is getting her own tree this year and decorating it herself so that way she have anything she wants. I am looking forward to see what you decide on.

I would really like to go with the hot pick look too, but I probably won’t. haha. That is so cool that your daughter gets her own tree. What a great way to let her explore being creative. I am still deciding on what color scheme to do….hope it turns out ok!

AH! Such a refreshing change from all the orange and black Halloween stuff! Thank you for rescuing me!! Here from Inspire Me Monday.
Love the pink and bright!! If I had a Christmas decoration budget, I’d add some of that for sure.

haha, I hear ya Melinda! I love the pink and bright too! I just don’t know if I can pull it off though. I may just have to get out my comfort zone this year and go for it!

Wow, those looks are all gorgeous. I thought I had settled on black and white with just a little red, but now I’m all confused! Thanks a LOT! 😉 😉 Really really like the greens and neutrals.

I hear ya Kimm! I am usually a traditional red and green gal myself. I thought this year I might switch it up a little. So many color options!

Good Morning Shonna! Funny how things work. I originally came over to your site from “Hit me with your best shot’ to ogle the inspiring Christmas displays you are pondering. I’m a boring traditionalist with the whole red and green thing. I do add things and move them around, but I’ve found that my family really enjoys opening the storage boxes holding all of Christmas decorations each year and knowing kinda where they’ll be.
But after I feasted on the eye candy, my attention was caught by your infertility journey. As the mom of 2 IVF babies, now in their teens, I know the frustration and , if lucky/blessed enough, the joy of the medical miracle that are our children…all children really. My oldest is a freshman in college now and I am often reminded of how those simple words “you are pregnant’ completely transformed our world from one of frustration to one of endless joy. Congrats on your newest soon-to-be!
Have a great day, Lynn

Lynn thank you so much for your comment today! I totally get that comfort in having consistent christmas decorations. One year my mom decided to use some nicer ornaments on the christmas tree. As kids, we all protested because we loved using the “ones we always use.” So, she put them back and we enjoyed using the regular old decorations. haha I love hearing other women’s stories about IVF and infertility. It such a great reminder that I am not alone. Time sure does goes by fast, that is so great that your oldest in in college! Thank you for the well wishes on my pregnancy!

My favorite is the Black & White! Love the simple ideas you’ve provided here. I came over from Wine’d Down Wednesday and I’m glad I did. I need to simply my Christmas decor, too. 🙂 Thanks for the ideas!

I hear you loud and clear about simplifying. That black and white decor is awesome! It feels so cozy too. Hopefully we can be better this year and not go so, all out!! haha

It’s almost time to put away the Halloween decorations and start thinking about Christmas!! Thanks for the inspiration, Shonee! Like you, I usually pick a color scheme and decorate around that. Not sure what I’ll go with this holiday season, so thanks for the ideas! Cheers!

I’m a tradionalist at heart. It is not Christmas unless we have some green in the house. Christmas has to have some natural texture and then we can go from there. So I love all of those ideas with the natural greenery.
Hawthorne & Main says
I agree Mary! I love to add the green for sure! That blue and green really caught my eye too!
Jamie says
Beautiful decor!! I always see the wreaths on the window, and want to try it. Need to get the time this year! 🙂
Hawthorne & Main says
Thanks Jamie, so much inspiration. I too always see wreaths on the widow. It’s funny, I see it in pictures but when it comes time to decorate my house I never think to add them, haha. Hopefully we can both get more time this year!

My husband and I were a little hesitant about going to a strip club together, but Sapphire Las Vegas exceeded our expectations. The couples package provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience, with VIP seating and amazing bottle service. The performers were top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect for a night out as a couple. We’re so glad we chose Sapphire for our Vegas adventure! https://sapphirelasvegas.com/bottle-packages/couples-packages/
