Hello! Thank you for stopping by today!!  I am super excited to be apart of this amazing blog hop! 

There are so many awesome ideas, I am sure you are going to find some wonderful new things to create and inspire you!! 

I personally love to decorate with patriotic decor during the summer months. I am so proud to be able to live in this country.  We really have it so good here when compared to many of the other parts of the world.  So many people have fought and paid the ultimate price for my freedom.  I am so grateful!! 

Today I am going to show you how to  make this fun mini 3D star garland which would be a perfect accent piece to any patriotic decor!! 

Lets’ get Started!! 


Here is what you will need:

-Stars  **free printable located at the bottom

–Bakers Twine

–Gold Washi Tape

–Scissors

–small hole punch

–Scoring board or ruler

Start by printing out the star printable.  Cut out each of the stars just inside the line.  Using a Scoring board or a ruler, score a straight line down from each point on all of the stars.  After you are done scoring, fold the star to make it 3D. To do this, fold the points of each of the stars up, the dip on the stars will be folded down.  See the image below.  
Once all the of stars are cut out use the hole punch to punch a small hole at the top of one of the points.  String all of the stars onto the bakers twine. Use some gold washi tape to tape it to your mantel, console table or  a barn wood sign like I did here.  The are so many different possibilities.
