New Sitting Area

Meet the new sitting area……

My new favorite place to sit and read.

We have a had a few changes around her lately, mainly…..
My father-in-law moved in……
Maybe some of you cringe at the idea of this but in all actuality it has been so great! 

I hope that as we look back on this time we will cherish it! 
With the news of his arrival we started some preparations…….  Do you remember what used to be right here!???

This house only has three bedrooms so we gave him the room that previously held my craft supplies and other odds and ends.   
  
I knew he would be brining his computer and since that room did not have a desk something needed to happen….. 
I moved the desk that was part of the command center into his room.  This is the location of where the command center used to be….
I am currently in the process of making over our laundry room which I think will double as a mud room and small command center.  
For now I have left everything else as is, except, when I was moving furniture around the other day, just for fun, I temporarily put the ottoman here.   I really liked it so it stayed!! 
It fits the space perfect.  What a lovely place to slip on shoes or sit and read for a bit… 
I plan on changing up the wall art here soon!  But for now it’s lovely! 

Have you ever had an experience where you moved something temporarily and liked the way it looked so you left it?!

This is one of the reasons that I am constantly moving stuff around….. sometimes you never know if you will like a piece of furniture in a particular spot until you try it out!!

What do you think about my new/by accident sitting area!! We have actually used it a lot!!

  3. That is great I would need this one for my kitchen. Lately I am very tired and need few minutes of rest. I have tree scholar and it could be exhausting to prepare them meal every little once.
